Grid Computing Basics
Course provides basic instructions on Grid technology, including: globus toolkit, grid security infrastructure, data management and job submission. The CRC Grid topology is explained in detail as well as the University’s role in the Northwest Indiana Computational Grid (NWICG) and Open Science Grid (OSG). Instructions are provided for obtaining Department of Energy (DoE) certifications - a requirement to use the Grid technology.
